For Physicians & Users

Silicone prosthetic devices for upper extremity amputation offer extension, mild compression, and passive grip, and surgery site protection. Silicone material is hypoallergenic and stain and heat resistant. For those struggling with the emotional loss of amputation, anatomical restoration can serve as a critical component of prosthetic rehabilitation.

Fingers/toes

Retained by suction suspension, a high realism prosthetic finger offers extension, which is critical for every day activities, such as writing and typing. The cushioned silicone also protects the surgery site, which can remain sensitive long after surgery.

Partial, Full Hand, and Passive Glove

A high realism partial hand is capable of passive grip, enables extension, and also protects the surgery site. This type of prosthesis is appropriate for people who have experienced multiple finger or transmetacarpal amputation. Retention is anatomical and suction.

Partial Foot

A partial foot prosthesis is appropriate for people who have undergone multiple toe, great toe, or transmetatarsal amputation. This multidurometer silicone design offers cushioning in sensitive areas and increased support at the foot lever, to assist with toe-off. improving gait.

Low Realism Functional Partial Foot

The low realism functional custom silicone partial foot prosthesis offers the same functional benefits as a high realism design, but the shape is more generic and it is composed of a single color silicone. This is an appropriate option for a person who is not concerned with realistic appearance, or for situations where insurance will not cover high realism. Recommended coding: L5010, L5620, L5637, L5647 (This coding only a suggestion and is exclusively determined by the providing practitioner).

Low Realism Functional Partial Hand

This is an appropriate option for those who are not concerned with realistic appearance, or for situations where insurance will not cover high realism.
